Without setting limits between amenity and greatness, his lyrical power stands out in the middle of dense forest. Concentrated and austere at times, excessive in others, he takes over himself and others in body and soul and he projects himself as he truly is, while he meditates thoroughly and thinks over and over about the earthly and cosmogonist things, perceiving in them their most active principles, so his compositions are, at the same time, and an act of creation and an act revelation in teh knowledge of new lives, where all spiritual an earthly things are revealed and released.

Sobre Jesús Lara Sotelo

Jesús Lara Sotelo - La Habana 1972- Pintor y escritor cubano cuya obra visual se encuentra en colecciones de varios países del mundo. Ha realizado más de setenta exposiciones personales y colectivas en 30 años de carrera artística. Entre otros ha publicado los poemarios ¿Quién eres tú, God de Magod? (2008), Alicia y las Odas prusianas (2011), Domos Magicvs (2013), Lina de Feria y Jesús Lara Sotelo. A dos manos (2016), Lebensraum (2016), Poemas de Berlín (2018), Poemas capitales (2918) y Subasta (2018), además de los libros de aforismos Mitología del extremo (2009) y El escarabajo de Namibia (2018) y las Antologías Poéticas El laberinto ante mí (2017) y La vaguedad y otros problemas (2019). Más de treinta de sus libros permanecen inéditos. Entre otros ha recibido el Reconocimiento Utilidad de la Virtud, así como Mención en el Premio Julián del Casal de Poesía en el año 2016.
